FRENCH TECH MARNE-LA-VALLÉE
Initiated by Descartes Développement et Innovation and a steering committee, and supported by numerous local partners and stakeholders (businesses and local governments), this unifying project was selected by the French Tech Mission. The French Tech Marne-la-Vallée Community, which received its certification in 2023, aims to foster the local entrepreneurial ecosystem, strengthen collaborations between startups, private catalysts, and public stakeholders, and ensure the ecosystem’s visibility at the national and international levels.
« La French Tech » : This is France’s startup movement. It’s a unique ecosystem that brings together startups, investors, decision-makers, and community builders. Its mission: to make France one of the most attractive countries in the world for startups looking to launch, expand into international markets, and build a meaningful future.
Start-ups: Joining the French Tech Marne-La-Vallée Community means:
- Become part of the ecosystem and help shape it
- Participate in our events and those of our partners
- Gain visibility within the startup and funding ecosystem (French Tech Marne-la-Vallée Community logo on your communication materials, listing in the member directory, promotion at our events and in our publications, connections with experts, investors, etc.)

- Be part of a learning community and benefit from the support of experts within the ecosystem.
Joining the French Tech Marne-la-Vallée Community also gives you access to national programs :
- French Tech Rise: This is the Mission French Tech program that highlights the dynamism of French Tech ecosystems throughout France. It connects regional startups with recognized venture capital firms
- French Tech Tremplin: Because the French Tech ecosystem must be as rich and diverse as the society from which it springs, French Tech Tremplin aims to maximize opportunities for populations that have been underrepresented in startup creation, offering them specific funding, training, and a mentoring program
- French Tech Central: a public service offering that enables public entities to support startups through various formats (workshops, facilitated meetings) and collaborations tailored to their needs, within the framework of public procurement procedures, open innovation initiatives, or beta testing.

The French Tech Mission’s Gender Parity Pact:
The French Tech Mission is committed to increasing the representation of women in the tech sector. It brings these initiatives together under one major initiative: the Gender Parity Pact. Signed in May 2022, the Gender Parity Pact has already been endorsed by 70 promising French startups (Alan, Brut, Doctolib, Veepee, etc.). To learn more, click here.
